I’m Changing My Posting Schedule

Hey guys, recently I asked for feedback about the blog, and I was encouraged by a lot of your comments.

For more than 5 years, I’ve been posting almost every weekday. That worked for a long time, but five days a week over five years eventually started to wear me down. So, in order to hopefully breathe new life into 1o1 Books, I’m going to trim back the schedule to 3 days a week.

Starting next week, you can expect posts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. That might occasionally change–I’m not going to beat myself up if I don’t post on one of those days–but that should generally be my new format.

I’ll try to increase the amount of book-specific posts while also keeping things fun and light–which, I think, made 101 Books unique compared to so many other book blogs and sites.

So that’s it. I’m not going anywhere! But you will see a little less of me, and that’s probably a good thing for all of us.

See you on Monday.

  1. Good for you. I so enjoy your posts and read each one with anticipation. But like you say, it can be exhausting to do so many a week.

  4. YAY! It’s a smart move. I’ve been on a MWF schedule for quite a while and weeks I’m overwhelmed it’s super easy to shift to a TTh schedule that week and it still feels productive 😀

  5. I’m happy for you in your decision. I learned that I can only spread that butter so thin on a slice of bread (Thank, Bilbo…) and sometimes I’m writing articles on assignment so the blog has to wait. You’re doing so well. I look forward to you writing/reading. Keep on keeping on.
