Don’t Leave Your Love Note In This English Class

This English teacher is a winner at life.

Some love-stricken student left a love note in his English class. So he took the opportunity to correct said student’s grammar within said love note.

The results were frickin’ hilarious.

Well played, Steven Wedel from Oklahoma City. You’re awesome.

  6. As a writing teacher this makes my heart happy! I would totally grade a student on a love note…right before sending them to the office because my 5th graders aren’t allowed to date in school 🙂

    • Ha. He said this was written by a senior. I can’t imagine reading a 5th grader’s love note.

      • Oh they are terrible! I haven’t seen a love note yet, but we journal every day and it frightens me every time I read their entries!

  10. Think of all the students who can’t get dates. If they would simply learn to write grammatically, their social calendars would be full.

You’re right, should have used “head desk” or “face palm” 😉

  20. Just for the record, yes, this is funny. However, the teacher could be seriously reprimanded for what he said at the very end. No school ever in the history of the world has condoned teacher/student relationships… And I am also assuming this is high school? So, I’m gonna go with this is funny, but seriously fake category.
