Philip K. Dick’s Fifth Wife Has A Blog

You know Philip K. Dick, right? He’s the author of my 64th book from the Time list, Ubik.  I previewed the book here.

Well, the late Dick’s fifth wife has a blog, and you don’t want to miss it.

It’s, um, interesting.

“Tell me about this blog,” you say. Well, okay.

The name of the blog is this:

TESSA DICK PRESENTS: IT’S A PHILIP K. DICK WORLD!

The subtitle, or maybe it’s the tagline, to the blog is this:

IT’S A PHILIP K. DICK WORLD! “REALITY IS THAT WHICH, WHEN YOU STOP BELIEVING IN IT, DOESN’T GO AWAY.” —PHILIP K. DICK GOVERNMENT INTRUSION INTO OUR PERSONAL LIVES IS INCREASING, THE ECONOMY IS SHOT AND THE MEDIA FOCUS ON HATE AND VIOLENCE. PHILIP K. DICK’S FIFTH AND LAST WIFE, TESSA DICK, TALKS ABOUT HER HUSBAND. I HAVE MY OWN BOOKS AND STORIES, AS WELL.

That’s strong.

In her latest post, Tessa reviews a new Brio Tuscan Grille that opened in Victoria Gardens.

In another post, she asks her readers to turn to the 56th page of the book they are reading and write down the 56th word in the comments section of her post. It’s an “experiment in synchronicity.”

In another post, she discusses JFK’s assassination and the conspiracy around it.

I found Mrs. Dick’s blog while looking up info related to Ubik. As of last week, she had a post called “Ubik Explained…sort of.” That post no longer exists, or did I just imagine it?

Anyway, this isn’t an endorsement of Mrs. Dick’s blog or her interesting theories. I’m just letting you guys know that Philip K. Dick’s FIFTH WIFE has a blog, and you might want to check it out if you’re a Dick fan.

Like I said, it’s interesting…

Here it is.

  2. Now I wish I’d called my blog, Mr Carmichael’s Second Wife Has a Blog. It’s brilliant although I’d probably up the number of previous for non verisimilitude. Have you patented it? 🙂
