101 Books: 2012 In Review

For the second year in a row, our friends at WordPress created a nifty year in review recap of my blog.

I posted the top 5 posts (my personal 5 favorites because the most visited posts aren’t always the most interesting) during the holiday break. But I thought I’d share this report with you if you are a numbers person. I am, so I find it pretty cool.

I’m not going to go through all the numbers, but I do want to highlight a few.

People from 174 countries visited 101 Books in 2012, with The United States, the U.K. and Canada leading the way. That’s the power of the internet. Wow, that just blows my mind. A shout out to my one visitor from Angola. Great to have you.

I created 257 new posts in 2012, growing the total archive of posts on 101 Books to 510.

Last, a special thanks to my top 5 commenters in 2012 (visit their blogs by clicking on their names):

1) Teresa 2) MutantSupermodel 3) Mike  4) Heather 5) Geoff W.

Thanks to all of you, and thanks to everyone for reading 101 Books this year.

It’s good to be back, although I must admit that I feel a little disoriented as I try and get back into my daily routine. I’ll put one final bow on A Dance To The Music Of Time tomorrow, and I’ll look ahead to 2013 on Friday.

  1. And I’ll start off the year with another comment 😀 Happy New Year! (I love that they’ve added the world stats. Justlooking at the map and wondering what that person from Angola was looking for and if they found it is highly fascinating to me.)

  3. Congratulations on your awesome stats! 🙂 I always feel a sense of awe when someone from a country very far away and different from mine visits my blog. That little statistic means so much – I wish I could fly through space and ask them what they were looking for, what they thought of my blog, what their life is like. Here’s to blogging and reaching people around the world! Cheers!
