A Lego Masterpiece Of Rivendell

Can we all agree that legos are the best toys ever?

Can we all agree that The Lord of the Rings is one of the greatest stories ever?

So what if we combined The Lord of the Rings and legos…what would that look like?

It would look like this:

That’s Rivendell, the home of the Elven ruler Elrond, constructed entirely from legos.

50,000 legos. More than 100 pounds. And measuring 40 inches by 30 inches.

Lego enthusiasts Blake Baer and Jake Bittner constructed this legonian masterpiece, which was recently featured over at Geekologie.

Want to impress your kids this Christmas? Well, the bar has been set by these two guys. Wow.

Here’s two more pictures for the road. You can see the rest of them at Geekologie.

      • Nah, I wouldn’t do that. Maybe we could be neighbors instead, hmmm? We could have “block” parties with the other neighbors. (pun intended)
